Occupational Health

All student doctors have a responsibility to ensure that their occupational health status is kept updated and available when starting an attachment at a hospital.

Some students will have Occupational Health Smart Cards which hold your personal and occupational health details (your immunisation records required for clearance for working safely with NHS patients). For those students who do not posess such a card then we require documentary evidence of -

Level of protection to Hep B with dates of vaccines if possible
Proof of immunity to rubella
Proof of immunity to chicken pox (although history of past  infection allowed)
Proof of BCG scar (can be done when Occupational Health actually see)
