Parking your car
Find somewhere to carefully park your car...
Now that you've found your way to the Hospital your next challenge for the day will be to find a safe, legal place to park it for the day whilst you learn the heroics of medicine! There are over 1400 parking spaces on site but I'm afraid (as per most hospitals) it can be a bit of a hassle.

You have several options -

Public car park (Pay and Display)

Up to 2 hours: £1.60
2 - 4 hours: £2.10
All day: £6.50

Staff car park

Somehat cheaper in that you buy a ticket for £10 which allows you to enter/exit the staff car park 20 times. Go to Financial Services, Oakwood Hall (see map) situated at the top of the stairs to pay the £10. Obtain a receipt and then take it to the Estates Dept, top floor Oakwood Annexe (adjacent to Oakwood Hall). You will then be issued with a barrier car parking pass and sticker for your car. Ask Undergraduate Staff more about this.

Outside the hospital

It is possible to park outside the hospital although you'll need to be sensitive about this as there have been complaints from residents living on the roads in the near vicinity of the hospital. May be best to do this on the first day to avoid the £6.50 required for the Hospital Pay and Display car park though.
